If you were an Amish man, today would definitely have been a chin strap day. The wind is strong enough that they cannot keep their straw hats on. They fought it all morning and by lunch time none of them have hats on. But, boy are they getting after it today!

After lunch the plywood deck is going down for the main level.

By the end of day 2 of framing work, here is where we are.......
Openings from left to right:
Master Bedroom French slider,
Dining Room French slider,
Great Room sliding French doors (2 fixed, middle 2 slide) to the deck.
Screened Porch area under the deck.
Basement rec room.
Stairwell between floors is on the left.
View from the rec room/bar.
I expect by the end of the day on Friday that most of the main level walls will be in place.
So, what do I think of all this? Brenda and I took some bag chairs and a cooler down to the patio. Had my first cigar on the new patio this evening. Nice.
