Sept. 10 - Drywalling has started

There was fog over the lake this morning.

I was up early (for me) today to get a jump start on last minute wiring work before the drywallers showed up. I made one new data/video run to the kitchen just in case we needed countertop network access in the future. I also finished the wall outlets for the surround sound in the lower level.

Here are some shots of the finished staining work I've been doing on the rear deck and screened porch.......

Here is the progress by noon today on the drywall. One guy worked alone to get all the 9 foot ceiling drywall installed on the main level. He has more help coming as soon as they finish up their last job.

By the end of the day most of the main floor walls and ceilings are covered with drywall.......

Cathedral ceiling eventually gets covered with the same white-washed look car siding used on the deck covers and entry cover.

  1. fog on the lake in the morning is always very cool. Something you'll always enjoy in fall and early spring, especially with your East facing view.
